As I struggled with my insomnia I knew that I needed to find some kind of solution. Before I ran out of the RelaxPM and the ReviveAM, I wanted to make sure I ordered something else to try. Maybe there was a missing piece of the puzzle that fits better. But what was it?
I browsed Surterra’s website and found their Zen product line which is a 1:4 CBD:THC Ratio. That seems like it still packs a punch, but has a bit more CBD than the RelaxPM does. Maybe it was the ratio that I needed to play with. Maybe I needed more or less CBD or THC to get what the feeling I am trying to find. It was worth trying, so I placed my order with online, and awaited my verification call.
A few hours later I received my call, verified my order and it would be delivered in 2 days from now. That was the earliest they could get out to me. I looked to see how far away they were, but I am not a fan of driving long distances if I can avoid it. I ended up deciding I would just have to wait until my order could be delivered.
Two more days or toss-and-turn struggle sleep later, I got my delivery. But I had to wait until later to even try it out. I just kept puffing on my ReviveAM for the time being. I knew it would help me get through my day at least.
I wanted to test out this new vape pen so bad, because I am so curious at the difference of the ratios. I knew the Soothe was a 1:1 ratio. I knew the ReviveAM was also a 1:1 but different feeling. The RelaxPM was THC dominant vape pen with a 1:10 ratio. How in the world would this new Zen vape pen at a 1:4 ratio make me feel.
After dinner I decided it was time to start winding down for the night, and I wanted to try out my new Zen vape pen, so it was finally time. I opened the container up, and took a puff. It was definitely different. I took 2 more puffs. A few minutes later I realized I was feeling really good. My brain was calm and relaxed, but so was my body. Again I realized I had left my cell phone at my desk, but I was able to muster the energy to go get it. This had some of the energy that I was feeling with the ReviveAM, but not the same, it was less.
It was interesting to me how the ratios truly changed the feeling that I got. So I realized fluctuating the CBD amount can give me a different feeling. Now I need to figure out when in my day do I need which feeling. I feel I should have started this a little before dinner maybe. I was still wide awake, and the only thing to really help me that I had was my RelaxPM vape pen. Maybe, it will help a little bit more because of this Zen already in my system.
I pulled out my RelaxPM vape pen at around 9:30 pm, and started to take a few puffs on that now, as I put my Zen vape pen away for the day. Yes, I did notice the difference in taste as well as feeling a few minutes later. I felt more of the body relaxation taking effect. I felt like I could relax and watch a movie, but in the end I was still awake.
This solution didn’t really do what I was looking for, but why? I guess it is because I needed more THC at night, and no CBD. That is the only thing that makes sense to me. I keep adjusting, and the CBD helps in relaxation, but I feel relaxed. That can’t be it, the actual answer has to be the THC for my insomnia.
The problem is I have already tested out the strongest THC that Surterra offers, at least in their ratio line of products. They did have another line of products, but trying these different vape pens, I was starting to notice one thing common among them all. I was starting to constantly have a dry mouth. I’ve smoked weed for a while, you can get “cotton mouth” and it makes your mouth dry, but this was worse, it was like my mouth was losing moisture, or something. I constantly was drinking more water.
Maybe the answer lied in a different dispensary. My comfort level with Surterra may be holding me back from finding the real answer. I need to take a step out of my comfort zone, and explore different dispensaries. What is available besides what I have already been trying. Do I need a different vape pen? Is it the disposable pens? What is really frustrating is I was used to smoking buds in a glass bowl (pipe) forever, but smokable flower is not yet available here in Florida, it is still under review, but supposedly we will have it soon. For now I will have to do some research and find out what else I can try.
